Cold Hands, Warm Hearts

Sometimes we do crazy things for cool pictures...like brave the cold for shots with the plaza lights. It should be much warmer when this couple gets married in August!  Thank you both for being such good sports...I hope that hot chocolate afterwards warmed you back up. =)

Sweethearts in the Studio

Sometimes a cozy studio session is just perfect!  As much as I love working with couples outdoors, midwest winters can be a bit unpredictable.  Temperatures can go from 55 to 5 in less than 24 hours, you never know if you'll have pretty snow on the ground or a barren brown mess, and the wind we've been having lately...oh my!  Snuggling in the studio is the way to go.

The Candid Couple

These two aren't big on hamming it up for the camera...which is just fine by me!  I love a more natural, relaxed look.  We spent the morning strolling around the Kansas City River Market area...and the time just flew by!  Their wedding is this Saturday, so watch for more shots of these two coming soon!

The weather is turning nice and that means...it's wedding season!  This cute couple is tying the knot next month, and I'm really looking forward to capturing their beautiful day.  Check back at the end of June to see a "sneak peek" of some of my favorite images from their wedding. =)

Anna + Daniel = ENGAGED!

These two are so much fun! They met down in Texas, moved to Kansas City, then got engaged at this beautiful little park. I am super excited for their wedding...Anna has so many great ideas! Thanks for taking time out from studying to play at the park with us, Daniel!
